Nanjing University of Science and Technology (NJUST), founded in 1953, is a prestigious university affiliated to the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology in China. As a key university of “Project 211” and a member of the “Double First-Class” construction universities and disciplines, NJUST has been committed to the construction of a dynamic and forward-thinking university with expertise in sciences and engineering. The university features two scenic campuses: Nanjing Campus and Jiangyin Campus, covering an area of 288 hectares.
With around 2,400 full-time faculty members,over 35,000 enrolled students, and more than 750 international students, NJUST excels in teaching and research across a diverse array of disciplines. The university comprises 21 schools with three primary academic clusters: Mechanical and Equipment,Information and Control, and Chemical Engineering and Materials. Eleven of our disciplines are ranked in the top 1% globally according to ESI rankings, with Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, and Computer Science achieving top 0.1% status.
NJUST has extended its influence beyond campus by establishing cooperative relationships with over 200 institutions in 35 countries and regions, forming strategic partnerships with prestigious universities and international organizations worldwide. Notably, NJUST has established the Sino-French Engineer School in the mode of 4+2 years of education. In cooperation with Ecole Nationale d'Ingénieurs de Metz, the school aims to train advanced elite engineers. In addition, NJUST jointly established the Sino-British"3+1"industrial design Program with Coventry University in 2013.
