Introduction

Generative Artificial Intelligence (AI) has rapidly evolved into one of the most transformative areas of machine learning, reshaping the way data is represented, synthesized, and utilized across diverse domains. By leveraging powerful models such as generative adversarial networks (GANs), variational autoencoders (VAEs), and large-scale diffusion and foundation models, generative AI enables machines to create realistic images, natural language text, structured data, and even multimodal content that rivals human creativity. Its applications are already visible in areas such as digital art, music composition, medical imaging, drug discovery, design, and personalized content creation.

Scope of the Session

This special session aims to bring together researchers, practitioners, and industry experts to discuss the latest developments, challenges, and opportunities in generative AI. Topics of interest include model architectures, training strategies, multimodal integration, interpretability, evaluation metrics, ethical considerations, and real-world deployments. By fostering dialogue across theoretical, methodological, and application-oriented perspectives, the session seeks to advance the understanding of generative AI and its role in shaping the future of intelligent systems.
