Scope of the Special Session:

The rapid growth of high-throughput technologies has produced massive and heterogeneous biological datasets, creating pressing challenges in extracting meaningful insights into complex biological systems and diseases. Machine learning offers powerful solutions to these challenges, enabling the analysis and integration of large-scale genomics, transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and clinical data.

Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

Disease subtyping and biomarker discovery

Drug discovery and repurposing

Protein structure and function prediction

Single-cell and spatial omics analysis

Interpretable, trustworthy, and privacy-preserving AI in biomedical research
